Community

If you’re looking to chat, this is the place to be. You can find lost of craigslisters here chatting away. There are also a few important sections in this category, including the lost and found, and they also have local news and politics.

Discussion

Discuss anything and everything in the discussion section of craigslist. Religious, sports, operating systems politics, legal matters, politics and more. Any sensitive issue that two extremist on either side might start a fight over, can be found here.

For Sale

This is the gold mine. If you’re new to Craigslist, this is probably the reason that you’re here. You want to find out whats for sell. Or maybe you’re an entrepreneur looking to strike it rich by posting your new widget on craigslist. Or maybe you have a garage full of junk that you need to get rid of.

This is where users exchange goods, products and services. You don’t even need more. People exchange one thing for another, using the age old barter system.

Whether you’re looking for a platonic friendship or a date for new years, this is the place to be. You can find members of the opposite sex, same sex or whatever you’re into. Of course, you must be 18 years or older to play and there are a few additional rules that you may come by.

Post your resume. Get noticed. Make sure the title really stands out, because you’re competing with your entire city. Additionally, there are no sub-categories, so again, make sure you grab some attention.

And finally there are service. This is ideal, if you are a business that provides services and not physical products.
